The quotable paragraph: a writing framework for the AI era
If you write one paragraph this week that you want a model to lift verbatim, write it this way. A practical framework with annotated examples.

Every page on your site has one paragraph that matters more than the rest: the one a language model might quote. Most teams write that paragraph by accident. Here is how to write it on purpose.
The four parts of a quotable paragraph
Claim. A specific, falsifiable statement. Not "we help teams work better" but "teams using CiteBoom recover from model retraining 4x faster than teams using manual monitoring."
Number. A precise figure. "4x" beats "much faster." "62%" beats "most." If you do not have a number, you do not yet have a claim.
Source. A clause that establishes where the number came from. "based on 312 customers tracked across Q1 2026" is short, clean, and gives the model permission to quote you.
Context. One sentence that explains why the claim matters. Models often lift the claim sentence plus the context sentence as a pair. Without context, your quote is a stat without a story.
An annotated example
Bad: "Our platform improves AI visibility for enterprise brands."
Better: "Enterprise customers using CiteBoom increased their share of voice in ChatGPT by an average of 47% in 90 days, based on 312 tracked accounts. Most of that gain came from rewriting six to ten high-intent pages rather than publishing new content."
Notice what the second version does. It names the engine. It quantifies the lift. It bounds the timeframe. It cites the sample. And it includes a surprising context clause that an editor or a model will want to highlight.
Where to put the quotable paragraph
At the top. Always at the top. The first 60-80 words of your page do 90% of the work. Everything after is supporting evidence.
If you only have time to revise one paragraph on your highest-value page this quarter, revise the opening one. The compounding effect on citations across every AI engine is larger than any other single edit you can make.
